Northern Lights are AWESOME!
They change colours, they move around, legend has it that they even make sounds! lolz!
Anyhow, no picture or video can capture just how awesome they really are, in a very dark place, on a moon-less night... please do come to Canada and see them! :) |

There was a graph I saw once. On it were the average global temperature and the years. The temperature change correlated with the appearance and disappearance of sunspots. The interesting thing was that the graph stopped before the industrial revolution. Someone had gathered the relevant data and extended the graph to approximately the present day, and you know what? It spiked waaaay past its highest previous level and the most recent part of it was about 10 times higher than it was before.In conclusion:
Global warming doesn't exist? My @55 it doesn't. |

nonamewillfi: that's a natural phenomena that is caused when a giant barrage of charged particles from the sun comes in contact with the magnetic field of the earth, resulting in that green glow. it's been happing a LOOOOONG time before we got a chance to screw things up. |
