Friday, March 05, 2010 11:23:17 AM This is actually China, Beijing I think, and was a huge news story like 3 months ago. This kid's parents couldn't afford childcare and they have to work. Their daughter was abducted so they chained up their son so he wouldn't be abducted. The matter has since been resolved. |

Koreans used to be called the Mole people because they have spent the last fifty years digging a military infrastructure which is almost entirely underground, so that satellites and planes cant spy on their activities, thus it is fairly unlikely that it is possible to know where the targets are."Where'd you find that out? |

Friday, March 05, 2010 8:43:30 AM I hope Kark Marx is rolling in his grave, so much for the workers of the world losing their chains.in other news N. Korea is pretty much uninvadible. Even if they don't take out their nukes, there are enough conventional weapons which can range on Seoul that about a million civilians would die in the first hour. Secondly the N. Koreans used to be called the Mole people because they have spent the last fifty years digging a military infrastructure which is almost entirely underground, so that satellites and planes cant spy on their activities, thus it is fairly unlikely that it is possible to know where the targets are. Finally even if it were possible to know where the targets were, it still isn't possible blow up mountains to get at the bases built under them. oh and then there are the nukes that can reach Japan and beyond (i.e. hawaii) |

Friday, March 05, 2010 8:17:15 AM yeah this is in China, the dad was an immigrant so couldn't qualify for free child care. He used to leave his two kids around there but one got abducted so he decided to chain his other to the post. Studied it in sociology a few weeks back. |

Friday, March 05, 2010 7:57:59 AM whilst he was out trying to earn money for his kid to eat, he chained him to that post so he wouldn't be abducted.

Friday, March 05, 2010 3:34:02 AM EHr the problem with freeing northkorea is that all the prisons would be cleaned out. or atleast is guessing they would be cleaned out because of the three-generation punishment system that is pretty drated up and all the prisoners who or doing time for really stupid laws.anyway, America saves the day, get's rid of the commie-bastards and rescues the people who lives in misserable conditions. hurray. now who will take care of all these people with no guvornment? ....ol' lost twin, SOUTH-KOREA. last time i checked, they wern't doing well enough to take care of a whole other country? "maybe it'll work if several counries cooperate?" No counry who likes thei're econom will agree to that, so good luck. |

Friday, March 05, 2010 3:22:56 AM This picture is a few months old now I think. Basically a guy who runs a taxi business or something couldn't afford to put the kid in school so whilst he was out trying to earn money for his kid to eat, he chained him to that post so he wouldn't be abducted. The kid was happy. Also, now the kid has been cleaned up and thanks to donations and that, is in education and has become a "star pupil" according to the head teacher.Stupid people talking about invasion etc |

Friday, March 05, 2010 1:55:24 AM "We already have that. It's our government telling us what's good for us. Congress will continue to screw things up for us. It's not getting better and won't any time soon. It's OUR government that continues to bully everyone."I know, that's why we need to hit the reset button already. Stand up and say, okay everyone out, we're starting over. Clean out congress, clean out the representatives, clean out the white house and just get everyone out of there that has any influence whatsoever. It's obviously not working to our benefit, or the benefit of anyone outside the country. The people need to be in charge, not the government, the government works for us, not the other way around. |

Friday, March 05, 2010 1:55:22 AM NidonemoYou live in your little bubble and have probably have never been treated like the poor people of NK have. shoot the stupid president all but bankrupt his country while starving his people for a nuclear program that will never succeed. I bet those people in NK would be happy to see the US take out that stupid drat. anyway go on thinking that. Its not about forcing our ideals on people, its about liberating an oppressed people from their maniacal dictator. |

Friday, March 05, 2010 12:42:26 AM "Is it weird to want to invade countries and believe we can make things better? I mean, wouldn't it be better to just takeover North Korea? If the public just worked with us, is it weird to think we could make their lives better? I mean, thats a crappy country. Would the full force of our nation not be able to make daily life better for North Koreans?"Take that logic and reverse it on yourself. Would YOU appreciate another country coming in and saying "Oh we know what's best for you, so listen to every one of our rules and if you don't we'll punish you in the name of your best interest." |
