elkingo, there's a big difference that you seem to be missing, here. dogs are not wild animals. they have been domesticated for thousands of years. if a dog is vicious, it is because it is ill or has been trained to be that way. killing the dog is not about revenge (like, say, stoning?) it is about stopping the problem. killing is in the nature of an orca, they're highly clever pack hunters. killing is what they do. the trainers were working with a wild animal. as in wild. after killing its trainers (what's the last count? three?) then it should be put down, humanely. but stoning? it's cruel, and an excuse for revenge against an animal that doesn't realize it's done something wrong. |

I do hear a lot of "stop pushing your idiotic beliefs on me". In the case here, a trainer was killed by a whale. Idiots, I mean religious people, want to put down the whale for doing what it was supposed to do. |

I am so sick of people running religion down. If this were a dog that killed two people, someone would want justice, and the owner would be liable. Instead, we get a religious group who makes an idiotic comment about stoning, and about 5 pages worth of hate. are they kidding? stoning? that's terrible. i mean, in some circumstances i can understand putting an animal down, but in a humane, quick way. in this case, when the animal has been violent before, they should just put it in a pool away from the public. if they captured it in the wild, and the repeated violence hasn't stopped them, they should have to house it with no profits. |

B. THEY took HIM from his natural habitat and used him for entertainment purposes- a wild animal no matter where they are is still wild
