Guess i'm a stick in the mud but I don't care much for spring break. Never been on it and never will. Alcohol tastes gross, I don't want to have unprotected sex, I don't want to get arrested, and quite honestly the whole idea of spring break is a bit retarded. |

I'd really like to see a similar infographic on Schoolies (for those who don't know Schoolies is the Australian equivilent, mostly QLD, NSW and VIC yr12 students go to Surfers Paradise or Byron Bay for a week of partys after the HSC is finished) |

What is spring break anyways? We have a week off for reading break but I spend it studying for midterms and doing labs and assignments. It doesn't really count if it's in the middle of midterms, does it? |

reading week over here is time spent going to all of your friends uni's in other parts of the country so you can go out for their student nights on the weekdays..at least it is for everyone i know anyway..i guess its different for us over here because we can drink from 18 anyway and have our student nights everyday of the week..the closest thing to spring break we have is our "lads/girls holidays" to usually greece/spain during the summer for a week or two..there's usually more british people there than locals and we take over, get drunk and randy and basically ruin their land for those few months of the year :) |
