Wow, there are some severe idiots here. @srgkoala There was no need for violence? Violence already occurred, against my Child! @Zero Pride has nothing to do with it, I'm simply the type to defend my Child from the physical violence of strangers. "I would be secretly hopeing that the drater decides to say something like "drat you" in stead of "I'm sorry."" Why would you be hoping that? would it be ok to kick his ass then? If not then what do you mean by that. @elphienotfae This is not a child. That is a full grown man attacking a child. An adult (like your friends mom) kicking a child (a child 2 years younger than your brother), your analogy favors me. If he's not in control of his actions he shouldn't be outside. And again, There's absolutely no way of knowing that the kick was the end of it, he may have continued to beat the child if the father hadn't reacted. That man had killed that child, would it be ok because he wasn't in control of himself? |

Have to comment on the comments for this one - non-parents... please shut up. Especially those who are saying,"I wouldn't do that if I had a kid, that's irresponsible, immature behaviour...etc." Maybe you happen to be right, but it doesn't matter. If you have no children of your own loins or seed, you cannot biologically understand what it is to be a parent. Period. So STFU. |

I don't care if Corky there has autism with a side order of Downs. He kicks my toddler and he's in danger of having his life span immediately and violently shortened. Anyone who thinks otherwise needs to let some idiot take a kick at their kid and see if they don't go into a rage as well. Nothing sets a parent off quicker than seeing their kid attacked. BTW to those who think its weird the kid didn't really flinch. He looks little enough that he might still have a diaper or pull ups, you'd be surprised how much those cushion. |

About the mentally challenged thing how many mentally challenged people do you know stand still and talk on a cell phone? they usually have some sort of neurotic behavior i.e swaying nodding mumbling and have irregular motor skills he perfectly walked up to and nailed that kid. It's funny how many "all violence is bad responses are out there" he effectively got the man to stop attacking his child and did not continue to hit him. |

What if that person couldn't control themselves? What if someone had a muscle spasm and hit your kid upside the head? You sound like a douche saying you'd beat up a mentally handicapped person. Sure I'd tell him off and MAYBE call someone like security or police but this same thing happened to my brother. He hit this other boy with a small book (fighting over a toy)and his mom slapped my brother and he flew backwards. He was only 6 and could have DIED. So think before you do, and don't be a douche. |
