Saturday, February 20, 2010 9:17:11 AM I don't disagree with a lot he said, average people get shafted and rich fly into DC on private jets to explain how they screwed up and need us to bail them out for a couple hundred billion.Phrankly - I'd put them all away with Madoff, there's a line between incompetence (i.e, you're fired) and negligence (you're going to jail) and all the top execs should be in prison with all their assets confiscated. Or do like the Chinese do - put a bullet in the back of the corrupt crooks! |

Saturday, February 20, 2010 9:13:53 AM After being screwed his whole life by the government that is supposed to protect him he decides to stand up for his self. Unless things change I suspect things to get a lot worse domestically, which is the last thing the country needs right now but we the people are being left with little choice. |

Saturday, February 20, 2010 7:35:51 AM I am a Marine, sworn to defend the Constitution from all enemies foreign and domestic, etc. But I have to say, this manifesto does not seem all that crazy. I am not at all condoning what he did or the action he took afterward, but I can relate to the angst, the anger and frustration; as I am sure many can. The only thing I am worried about is that the hardliners will take this as a signal to rally and take further action. That manifesto right there... it may as well have been my Father talking the ENTIRE way through it! Scary to think about because come to think of it, there are plenty of people who feel this way. A dime a dozen. You watch, this man will be a hero to many people. |

Friday, February 19, 2010 11:56:14 PM "These days anyone who really stands up for that principal is promptly labeled a "crackpot" traitor, or worse."yes... because people who refuse to accept the laws of society are mentally damaged and do insane things like set houses on fire and crash planes into buildings. for us to survive as a species, laws and government must exist. |

Friday, February 19, 2010 11:38:42 PM In my opinion, flying a plane into sh*t isn't your best solution. Sordyh summed it up quite nicely on what I'm thinking: Friday, February 19, 2010 11:52:56 AM "This man is the epitome of a bitch. We ALL suffer from the government's stupidity. And let's be honest: He could afford a Cherokee 140, so he must not be THAT strapped. And even if he was, he could sell the plane. Rather, he bitched out and hurt 2 if not 3 people, and made his wife and kids suffer from the loss of the home he burnt down. I don't care how many boo-hoo excuses are made, he is a coward that ended his life so he didn't have to face the day-to-day bullpoo all of us deal with."How do you italicize lol? |

Friday, February 19, 2010 11:36:42 PM Nidonemo, what he meant was that this country is all effed up, from childhood to adulthood. Taxes, what you're labeled for speaking up against the system. After he graduated, he was just another nameless figure with a sh*tty degree that was said to give him a lot of dough. He had to use his savings and retirement funding to give him his survival needs. After this, it seems like he tried a new business and declined professional help, which further put him in money problems. He goes off to rant more about the inability of government workers and the overall screwing that Big Brother does. |

Friday, February 19, 2010 10:37:01 PM is it true that americans have to pay theyre taxes when ordered to do so by a court of law?...and the reason for this is your courts have 'admiriality law'. i belive it has something to do with the gold fringe that surrounds your flag that only appears in your courts...if this isnt the case feel free to correct me... |

Friday, February 19, 2010 9:43:33 PM "Violence isn't only the answer, it's the only answer." I am sympathetic to a lot of his angst, but I don't think the I.R.S. is specifically to blame. The Government is too big, cumbersome and disorganized. We need to stream line it, localize it, and provide 100% transparency in every transaction. However, as grim as it may seem, it's still a hell of a lot better than it could be. |

Friday, February 19, 2010 8:03:54 PM After reading the entire document, I unfortunately don't understand half of what he said. It's way over my comprehension, and I feel frustrated because I'd love to know exactly what he meant. |

Friday, February 19, 2010 5:28:35 PM Okay... yes... we know the system's broken.However... flying a plane into a building doesn't fix things... as a matter of fact, it makes them more broken. |

Friday, February 19, 2010 2:00:29 PM "We ALL suffer from the government's stupidity"yeah but we do nothing about it. i am not saying to crash a plane into the IRS (although is probably the most effective way to call their attention) but we can all at least try |
