Sunday, February 07, 2010 7:55:30 AM @ BatmannersThe body adapts as well as the mind. These guys have obviously been through alot of training pre-centrifuge experience, but only practice and doing the same thing over and over will make those drills second nature. Without a doubt a pilot with years of flight experience would make it look easy. Like riding a bike, it's hard to do at first, then you get better. Years later you jump on and go with no concious effort, and thats the plan. Making high g breathing exercises second nature gives jet pilots the ability to survive, multitask and concentrate in an environment that will drat you up if you are new to it. |

Sunday, February 07, 2010 3:47:36 AM basketkase - "lmao at the old people who don't know what Dragon Ball Z is" LMAO at the little punk who can't drive a big car, ride a superbike, hold himself in a fight, go to the bar and have a drink and talk to other men and girls, earn a grown up wage to spend on what he wants, do whatever he wants whenever he wants without asking his mommy, and most of all... has to play with himself rather than cuddle up with a hot experienced sexy lady every night of the week. Lol, you keep on playing Dragon Ball Z sonny, I'll stay just where i am, I like being "old" as you put it, being a little kiddy sucks big time, as one day you may find out! |

Saturday, February 06, 2010 10:12:10 PM Agreed w/ Vegeta comments.I would like to see a 5+ years experience fighter pilot get into one of these, just to see how he deals with it. Because I have seen many videos where the passenger in the plane passes out and can't breathe while the pilot is all calm and isn't even struggling to talk. I'm just thinking the body adapts, and eventually you don't have to try as hard to stay awake when doing 7 g's. |

Saturday, February 06, 2010 8:39:37 PM Bobybuilder wouldn't be good because in most cases, their muscles are overdeveloped, and thus require more oxygen to perform.Smaller size means less travel time the blood takes, and thus it's reoxygenated faster. Good muscle tone is more important than pure power for pilots who perform these types of maneuvers that are being simulated. |
