The other devices are mere toys compared to a computer."To the first guy, iPads are already something you could throw away...worthless. LOL To the second guy, I use a projected keyboard and monitor. How do you like that...lol. No physical keyboard or monitor. :-p

I doubt it. Voice recognition still sux. Ergonomically we've become accustomed to typing on keyboards. The other devices are mere toys compared to a computer.

There are plans under way to make computers with projectors small enough to hang on a necklace with touch, movement and voice recognition. In 5 years your laptop will seem like an 8-track player, iPads will be child's toys. |

That's pretty awesome; if only someone did expand on the idea... :pEven that isn't too bad though, weight-wise. 30lbs is pretty light to carry on your chest, assuming the harness distributes the weight somewhat well. That'd be pretty darn fun though, even just to "show off" in public. I think I would play grand theft auto. |

Yeah, it's awesome - until the combined weight of the projector, gaming system, and harness itself starts to wear on you. Most gamers don't have the physique to handle 30 pounds hanging from your chest like that. |
