Sunday, January 31, 2010 5:15:12 PM "Why do all her friends need to know her grandma died?" Because she's grieving and this tells them why without her having to explain it over and over again. I'm not saying there aren't people who do this for attention, but there are also people who are sharing legitimate emotions. And I don't think disrespecting somebody's grief is particularly funny. That just crosses a line. |

Sunday, January 31, 2010 4:52:11 PM @weirdgrrl Broadcasting your life on FB is stupid. Tombstones and obituaries are the appropriate media for memorials. This is fishing for sympathy. Why do all her friends need to know her grandma died? I'm sure those that were close enough to Grandma Betty to care already knew she was dead before this chick posted it up online. Mark, however, is a douche... but funny... |

Sunday, January 31, 2010 3:39:25 PM "You dont broadcast your tragedy to the world it makes it less personal."First of all, she didn't broadcast her tragedy to the world, she posted it on Facebook; IAB broadcast it to the world. Secondly, sometimes you don't feel like having to inform every single person individually that you've suffered a devestating loss. So you tell them en masse, not so different from an obituary. Nothing wrong with that. It's just unfortunate for her that one of her so-called friends is an a$$. |

Sunday, January 31, 2010 6:42:29 AM learn how to use a calendar first before you mourn, for f'ucks sake. I use calendars so many more times in life than I grieve, get your priorities straight |

Sunday, January 31, 2010 1:17:01 AM I think what Mark was trying to convey was that he felt Emily waited an excessive amount of time to post about her deceased grandmother. |
