Saturday, January 23, 2010 10:54:50 AM This has to end. Bronte is probably spinning in her grave. Hey, not a bad idea. Even as a zombie Ms. Bronte could pwn that fictional pansy vamp.If this spills over into Jane Austen I am leaving the country. Indeed the planet. |

Friday, January 22, 2010 5:05:29 PM @ TysonRp, you think with that extensive collection of books you would have used the right WORSHIP not WARSHIP like you did unless the guy has a war ship named after him now. |

Friday, January 22, 2010 12:58:57 PM Yeah I saw these in a bookshop a while ago. I ripped out pages from my notebook and slipped notes inside which read: "You know this isn't Twilight, right?" and "Just to let you know, there aren't any vampires in this one". Its awful that classic books have been reduced to this. |

Friday, January 22, 2010 11:52:36 AM "Excuse fail. There are literally billions of books you could have chosen to read, and you chose Twilight. Really, it sounds to me like you feel like you have to make excuses for reading, period. What, you'll only pick up a book if your PSP breaks down? Literacy fail, as well."I actually have an extensive collection of books, and the only technology I had at the time was my laptop, film camera and television. I have read all the books I currently own at least five or six times, but I don't own Twilight, I borrowed it from one of my friends who is one of those people who warship Edward . . . yeah yeah. When I said I read it because my technology broke I meant specifically those books, my technology was constricting my time to such a degree that I didn't have the time to read those specific books. I easily read about ten or eleven books a month. And yes, I have nothing better to do than write this. |

Thursday, January 21, 2010 5:57:51 PM i never read the series, i went and saw the first movie (reluctantly, i only went cuz i had a good chance of gettin a piece of ass that night) and the movie sucked. it was boring, predictable, and not worth the time spend between the beginning of the date and getting laid |

Thursday, January 21, 2010 5:53:31 PM I have read the Twilight books, mainly because every bit of technology I had broke a few months back, and they aren't as bad as everyone is saying they are. I'm not saying that they are good . . . at all . . . . . . ever, but they aren't this abomination of the english language that everyone is making them out to be. The movies suck donkey ass through a straw though, those ARE abominations. I think the main reason that everyone hates the books is because of their fan club of teenage girls who will murder you if you say anything bad about their oh so holy Edward. There's my two cents. |

Thursday, January 21, 2010 12:09:52 PM And PreoSmo -Are you stupid? Meyer has said over and over again that she's a novice writer, and that she's seen improvement in her writing since starting, but she has NEVER claimed to be a literary genius. If she did, more people would hear about because it's simply that untrue. |

Thursday, January 21, 2010 11:18:24 AM Cry me a drating river. I'm so tired of people being "disgusted" or "depressed" because of Twilight. Grow the fudgeC up! Really? It's that big of an inconvenience on you that someone changed a book cover to bring in a new audience? Wow, that's impressive that you have that little of a drating life.Seriously, you Twilight-haters must think about that drating series more than the fans do. That is NOT hatred.. That's obsession. Get some help. |
