Tuesday, January 19, 2010 1:59:30 PM No, this would never happen in America. Instead we just send HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS WORTH OF EFFING AID. |

Tuesday, January 19, 2010 8:49:48 AM No reason to slam USA, pinhead. There are thousands of Americans there, helping right now. And more are on the way. |

Ulfnir: Not everyone pitches in.http://onuferova.blog.sme.sk/c/209098/Starving-Child-Vulture-analysis.html The man who took that photo did not help the child. He later killed himself when the story got out. |

Tuesday, January 19, 2010 6:37:09 AM Nationality is irrelevant. In a situation like that, you just pitch in and do what you can. Doing otherwise lessens you. |

Tuesday, January 19, 2010 5:06:27 AM Met an american who was over the uk, we were at the Beach and someone had been showing off with there fancy car and boat and got it stuck in the sand with the tide coming in. Everyone just watched some guy was lining up his children with Ice cream to watch the Show. The yankee started going crazy wondering why no one was trying to help get the car out.... Your view on Americans is flawed people. And Btw USA anyone makes a joke at your expense accept it and get on with it. Your overt Pride is one of the reasons your fair game, you always fall victim to statements like that. |

Tuesday, January 19, 2010 1:44:48 AM "so even tho america is basically obsessed with taking ppl out of crapy situations and we are currently the largest helper in haiti wer evil? feck u"Okay, just throwing this out there... you may want to go back to grade school English. That camera man is awesome, I'm so glad he did something. This reminds me of the photographer who took an hour to take a picture of a dying girl in Africa instead of helping her. It's a really famous picture, and there was a lot of controversy. The guy ended up hanging himself a few months later :s |

Tuesday, January 19, 2010 12:00:47 AM Has anyone else noticed that pretty much all the links on this site (except pics) always have a controversial "description" which always lead to day-long flame wars? kind of a cheap ploy just to get site traffic... |

Monday, January 18, 2010 10:23:01 PM The Americans will end up contributing more to the rescue, relief, and rebuilding than the entire rest of the world combined, just like we did for the 2004 tsunami. So, whoever wrote that snarky headline, I would like to cordially invite you to suck my hairy American balls. |

Monday, January 18, 2010 7:12:26 PM Damn, why is everyone crying about the caption? It's appropriate considering how ruthless American media is sometimes. Had it been a Fox or NBC reporter or something, they probably would have kept filming for the drama instead of rescuing the baby. |
