Wednesday, January 20, 2010 7:40:25 AM no... Japan has bean paste and a wide variety of chocolate brands... unless, of course, you're joking, in which case... ha ha ha.

Tuesday, January 19, 2010 6:25:07 PM I would never defend Japan on anything. I just wanted to correct the mistake of having Bean Paste INSTEAD of chocolate. Japan has both.

Tuesday, January 19, 2010 2:34:00 PM You people are completely contradicting yourselves. I suppose you are trying to defend Japan or whatever. From what I’m not sure because all most are saying is that this weird’s them out. It is human nature. It is why we have different cultures. I am allowed to find this amusing and I should. Because this is odd and unknown to me. If you claim to be so worldly that you have seen it all and nothing seems strange to you anymore I feel sorry for you. |

Tuesday, January 19, 2010 3:02:30 AM >Shinoki >Do people here realize how insane a "peanut butter and jelly sandwich" is to Japanese people?Hahaha, peanut butter and jelly? What the F*CK is that? Are you saying there's a country that makes peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and laughs at squid eyes? Lol. But really, they have BEAN PASTE instead of chocolate in Japan. |

Monday, January 18, 2010 11:14:34 PM sereniee, I'm with you on this one... It's Indonesian food sold in Japan. And it isn't "weird", it's "different". Do people here realize how insane a "peanut butter and jelly sandwich" is to Japanese people? I've explained this staple lunchbox meal to them and I haven't had ONE single Japanese person not say how strange they thought it would be. Mind you, Japanese peanut butter tends to be sweeter, but that's beside the point. It's interesting, but careful saying "weird" or strange, especially if it's just food.

Monday, January 18, 2010 10:18:52 PM Japan shall never cease to bore and amaze me. if Japan jokes ever become "annoying" to you; you should probably eat lead paint chips, because you have become so desensitized by the worlds oddities that our life is no longer worth living. |
