Why do we always have this pointless Brit vs US crap whenever something Brit turns up here. There's enough US people posting here that get the comedy in the clip, nationality has nothing to do with it.And I'm speaking as a Brit who loves the best from both sides - South Park, Big Bang Theory, George Carlin just as funny to me as QI or Python. |

Funny of course, but stuff like this happnes all the time on this show, and any comedy quiz shows at all. And for everyone else, please stop lumping "british humour" and "american humour." Both can be hilarious, both can be unfunny. I think the defining differences are, American scripted comedy: normally hilarious, british comedians: normally hilarious. |

I've ever actually watched, Brit humor is just a prolonged version of dinner scene from Billy Madison. If that's the case maybe I am too dumb of an American to wrap my mind around that kind of humor.
My dear Pel, if your understanding of British humour is an extended Billy Madison clip, then I'm afraid you may be a victim of the latter explanation. |

And from what I can gather from every piece of British comedy I've ever actually watched, Brit humor is just a prolonged version of dinner scene from Billy Madison.
