Monday, January 18, 2010 8:27:04 AM After spending the money to create the most badass suspension in the world, he couldn't spring for a fuel injected engine. |

Monday, January 18, 2010 5:51:41 AM Making that into a vehicle interesting for the military shouldn't be hard. Equip it with a bigger engine if it's slow (hey, we ain't seen nothing but tediously slow impossible-terrain-trekking), put some bulletproof plates as bodywork, and presto, reconaissance vehicle! |

Monday, January 18, 2010 4:16:33 AM Angilion,So, the military couldn't snatch up the design and have one of its pet contractors improve on it? We've seen our military work on flying saucers in the 60's and 70's and then abandon the project, work on the "Big Dog" project that looks and acts like nothing more than a zombified pony skeleton and sent our soldiers into urban combat in cardboard clad Hummers. You think there isn't a general somewhere watching this and sporting a full-on robot chubby? We've got missiles with cameras on the front of them for cripes-sakes! LOL LJ |

Sunday, January 17, 2010 8:05:02 PM I'm just wondering how long it'll take the military to contact them for the design.
Many people are talking about military use, but I'm not so sure. The military need more than a open vehicle that can carry two people very slowly over extremely uneven terrain. It needs to carry more, tackle steep gradients, grass, mud, water, dust, sand, never break down and if it isn't heavily armoured it needs to be fast. Unimogs are used over here, because they can do things like hauling 8 men plus kit through a river, up the bank and up a 45 degree mud hill quickly. |

Saturday, January 16, 2010 11:32:39 PM I kept thinking that the wheel would bend because of the pressure exerted on it. It happens alot with normal utes so I was kinda surprised it did so well.

Saturday, January 16, 2010 7:40:04 PM Alright, the guys who made this should seriously consider going to NASA with this suspension system. It would work perfectly for Mars rovers, moon rovers, anything! |

Saturday, January 16, 2010 5:48:26 PM So it's basically a sand-car, but ugly and with ridiculous suspension? I wonder why anyone would want to drive around terrain that requires that though... |
