The way I see it is this...It takes a lot of work to be a Stud, not just any guy can be a Stud. But to be a Slut it takes having a vagina, that's about it. Any girl can get a guy to have sex with her by just asking, but if just any guy asks to have sex with someone they will be slapped or whatever. Women have it much easier in the sex department. That's why Roofies were invented, to give losers more of a fighting chance. Not that I agree with Date Rape...just saying. |

But locks protect property...Good for a laugh, but also illuminating. Women in the US were not granted legal majority- adult status- until the late 1800s. In the first states to recognize them as human beings. No voting, couldn't study at university, couldn't go to court in their own name. Not much more than a hundred years ago. Four or five generations. Women were essentially property. The root of this wasn't really some perceived feminine inferiority- it really all comes down to sex. Blame it on the biology, sure. A woman's reproductive capacity- and by extension, the entire person that she is- is a precious commodity to be protected by the "lock" of trained chastity, social ridicule, law. Everything's about sex. Kind of sad, I think there's more to life.
