the problem is at this point there are only a few teams who want a playoff because all the other good schools are recognized and have a shot at the national championship after they go undefeated.besides, cincinnati didn't help the cause by getting F'd in the butt by Florida |

It is the worst bull crap that the BCS made TCU and BSU play against each other, so that neither of them gets a chance to take down a BCS school. That's cheating, as far as I'm concerned, so I don't recognize the BCS champion.I totally agree, they don't want another school doing what Utah did to Alabama last year..and they need to stop calling it a National Championship, cause its not, when you exclude 95% of the schools from competing for its not a National Championship...its a divisional chamionship. |

I'm with Lando on this one. How can the BCS declare a champ when there is clearly another team that SHOULD get a chance to take it, but isn't because their conferences refuse to take a chance on losing to BSU.@MackenBurger; Fact. |

I'm saying it on a forum. It is my opinion. The BCS will not allow an undefeated school from a non-BCS conference to participate in their national championship game, and the BCS are the ones who decided that the winner of the National Championship game is the National Champion according to their rules. Fine. I don't recognize their rules. If you need a professional sports writer to back up that opinion (and it is just my opinion) here you go:BCS schools won't play against Boise State

Lando, you should seriously doing a little research. I did a google search on co-national champions 2010 Boise State, and the only people claiming that Boise State is the co-champions are from forums. NOTHING came up from ESPN, ABC, CNN, FOX Sports or anything credible.The last time there were co-champions, was back in the 97-98 season when Michigan(AP Poll) and Nebraska(USA Today Coaches Poll) shared it. All arguing aside, I would like to see a playoff system that would lead to a true championship. Hook 'em Horns! |
