I don't believe in god because if he really wanted me to believe, he wouldn't send morons to try to convince me, he'd also already have tom cruise as his poster boy, so...in any case, if you assume that space is infinite, than god HAS to exist, but if it's not, there's only a chance he MIGHT exist, so I'm still waiting on that.... |

The way I look at it is.. I try to lead a good life, I stay out of trouble.. I live by good morals and values..I don't know If there is a God.. frankly I don't care... One day when I die, If it turns out that there is in fact a God I'm sure I won't be sent to Hell for not having read the bible 24/7 or getting baptised.. If there really is a God and he is Omni - everything, all knowing all seeing and all that jazz then he'll know I lived my life as a good person.. If he or she still sends me to a Hell simply on the technicality that I didn't fully commit regardless of the fact I did not sin then frankly he's a prick and I don't want to be in heaven under what can only be an unjust and unfair system. If It turns out that there is no God, Then I have lost nothing and will simply rot and become part of the earth I once walked on.. Fair enough :D |

Holy poo...this still going?? heheI just read through the comments and it has occured to me.. that there are some right morons on the Christian side of the argument, there are some right morons on the Athiest side... and a few people in between trying to keep the peace, the occasional comment regarding beef jerky or cocaine.. and some funny one liners.. (from both sides).. Please never stop people, you provide entertainment for the rest of the world :D |

It's not the fact that you refuse to believe in him that's ridiculous, it's the fact that you completely deny the his prescence that's ridiculous. Just like we can't prove something undetectable is there, you cannot prove that it isn't. Yes, its not really a good argument against atheism, but that's not what its supposed to combat, it's supposed to stop both sides from using that weak argument. |

I realize he was dissing on bat, and I was a little hasty when saying prove there is a god, I'm sorry. I'm just getting tired of all the drama. It's true that there are some things you should not post. I guess we need the variety of views to get a big picture and possibly better understanding, but we don't have to kill each other or diss on religion to do it. |
