Not "Christians are pretty stupid", the Westboro Baptist Churches members are pretty stupid (I think there are 15). They are bigots that don't even follow the second of the first two great commandments the man who they say they follow taught: Love thy neighbor as thyself.Don't base your opinion of Christians on one, tiny, bigoted group of people. |

I'm not a big fan of Lady Gaga at all, but I think that's pushing it. I think it' a little contradictory to say something like that too. Christians are pretty stupid. |

sometimes i don't really like how she represents herself... and i don't think that children of a certain age should be listening to her music... but i would say the same about 90% of all the top 40s music played today. these ignorant people are picking on someone who is confident with her sexuality, femininity and her body, and they should be ashamed of themselves. i hope that they realise that God loves us all equally and doesn't judge us, and we definitely should not hate or judge eachother. |

Relax mate, this is just somewhere to have a bit of fun and enjoy yourself. If you're looking for some intellectual stimulation, I'd be happy to point you in the direction of some crossword puzzles or sudoku or something, but that isn't really IAB's thing. And on a side note, I'm more than happy to mock any claim without evidence (and the people who accept them), whether it's Allah, Jesus, Thor, Quetzacoatl, elves or the Loch Ness Monster. Actually I should really be helping promote Scottish tourism by keeping that Nessie thing going. Whoops. |

Nope, because there's nothing unifying me with other atheists other than a lack of belief in a god. I have as much in common with other atheists as I do with, for example, other non-dentists. Christians, however, DO (or should) share the same beliefs as their fellow Christians, so they ARE responsible. "Westboro is a cult, they have nothing in common with Christianity." They use passages from a book every Christian considers holy to justify their actions. You can't fault them for that, the messages of hate are written right there in the Bible. They're just taking it more seriously and more literally than you are. |

I use to be a regular here, but I feel my brain dying with each passing day of the same old crap. I've tried several times to submit material that was amusing, but at least somewhat intelligent. Now I see why they've been rejected. BTW, you DO realize that there are other religions out there, right? Why not try poking fun at certain religions whose members keep trying to blow themselves up. Or are you afraid of offending people (despite the fact that there are over 1.5 billion Christians on Earth)? |

Just to get an small argument straight from a little ways down.According to Acts (and I think a few other passages), Jesus rose from the grave after three days. BUT, he did hang around for about a month before he went to Heaven. I had five semesters of Bible classes at the Christian university I went to...yes it was as bad as you think. |
