Being overwieght may not be a 100% way to get diabetes but it gives you a much higher chance of getting it. |

Oh, and Qtee_mo, you don't actually think that's how most 12 year olds get diabetes, do you? I know it sounds like I'm picking a fight but I need to help people who think diabetics are ALL fat slobs. |

@ Dragosal I do everything that people say IS healthy (eat right, excercise, bla bla bla) And still haven't lost any weight save for 2 pounds out of 5 months. Some people just have that type of body I guess. You're lucky. |

Here is food for thought. In Australia they recently passed a bill that says if your child is obese (like this kid) a doctor will tell the parents to put the kid on a diet. After X amount of months if the child's health has not improved the child will be taken away as it's obesity is unhealthy and therefor a form of child abuse. Maybe one day our US Government will stop being such pussies and follow along. |

Thats kinda sad. As an adult I could easily sit in that little hamper (ahem, not with my legs stretched out of course), and that kid is practically overflowing it.
Still, he gets thumbs up for using his imagination, and making-do with what he has.
Now put him on a diet, poor thing. |
