the israeli conflict culd have been avoided if the surrounding Arab nations allowed the Palestinians to move to their nations during the early 1900s and the British actually let the Palestinians know what was going on. Hitler drated sh*t up too (1939 White Paper would have guaranteed an Arab state). From what I learned in my class on Zionism this year the Jordanians, Lebanese, and Syrians don't like the Palestinians much better than the Israelis do and don't want them in their countries...Pan-Arabism is a joke btw |

@Baalthazaq, I agree with the US support of Israel. The land belonged to the Jews first. After the brittish left and the feuding began betweent the Jews and Muslims, it was the Muslims who began the violence.We cannot necessarily blame Israel for the many unnecessary civiliam losses on the palestinian side of the scuffle. It is hard to determine the soldiers when compared to people just walking around. Anybody they see could be a hostile, including children, which has to be one of the hardest things to pull yourself to do. To point your weapon at a child who may or may not have been sent to kill you, and pull the trigger. On the other side of this, i cant see why there are so many civilian casualties on the Israeli side. The soldiers where uniforms and are easily determinable from the general population. To harm the civilians in Israel, you have to try. But, this is nothing new for the muslim extremists in the middle east. They always seem to attack the innocent. |

@BaalthazaqI never said I thought Japanese civilian deserved to die.What I was trying to show was if put in the sitiuation we were put in then I would support the decision we made because the alternative would have been even worse. It also kinda sounds like your holding the U.S. responsible for the actions of Israel we are two different countries and have no control over what their military does you know. |

If the billions of those who cannot afford etc. didn't exist, would that stop us from being able to afford electricity or speak our mind - NO. Maybe you should seperate out your two twisted arguments here, and shine some light on them:
- "if we don't keep the poor masses at bay we won't have so much good stuff" and
- "if we don't oppress everyone else we won't be able to speak our minds" You're twisting stuff, dude, but hey don't let me stop you, on with the fear and loathing... |

Fine let me clarify... The oppinions and attitude you express are the type that tend to make people assume I'm an non-nice individual when I visit other countries. You may not be an american, but your overbearing demeanor and way of sharing those opinions fit into the stereotype that has almost got my ass kicked for the place I live multiple times.Clear enough?
