I'm a self proclaimed feminist and I agree with most of it except Bella and Ariel. I don't remember the disney version, but the original version by
Andersen is a tale of love and devotion, I think. Being hopelessly deovoted to someone. I happens to both sexes. Bella;s story is beautiful excet Disney's portrayal of Bella as very beautiful sensual woman but story itself is eautiful.

But I have to say I hate Cinderella story with a passion, makes me want to vomit.

um....well ur right ariel did want those legs before she met eric but she was told that she needed to get eric to fall in love with her in order to keep those legs. with no voice she got eric to fall in love with her. she used her body not her personality or brains.

Ariel wanted to be a human before she even met Eric. Remember the whole searching through the sunken ship for all the human stuff and going to skuttle to find out more about the human stuff.

I have a young daughter and have seen everyone one of these movies and disagree with the editors assessment of the princesses. $10 says who ever made this is fat and ugly.

Actually that's a lie. Belle is cultured, intelligent and kind and she's always talking about not settling for what she has and look for more. That's why the Beast falls for her, because she ain't a pushover.

Yes I'm a girl.

Jasmin: Bad law, seems like the best of the worst, proving, one again, that Jasmin is hot.

Looks weren't Snow White's only asset. She could do housework, too.

Talking about Beauty and the Beast being skewed. How about alladin? Jasmine wouldnt bend to the will of the law and her father, choosing to marry for love over power. And argue all you want about her only asset being beauty, most if not all these women showed compassion and intelligence, except maybe Snow White and you explain to me how your are supposed to demonstrate in a hour and a half long flick FOR KIDS that they got married because he valued her intelligence.

i agree that what was said about beauty and the beast was skewed but that movie was still very f'd up. after constant abuse from the beast, beauty kept coming back and being there for him. no matter what he did no matter how horrible he treated her she was convinced she could change him and that things would be ok. he treated her like crap and she remained. so listen girls if ur man treats u like poo dont be sad!! u can change him...all guys have an inner prince charming and it just takes a lot of patience and putting up with ALL his poo no matter how bad it is..!~~

I think Beauty and the Beast is terribly (and purposefully) skewed. I mean, come on. Sexuality!?!? The beast is saved by Belle's love for him.

I realize that the creators of this image were exaggerating for dramatic effect, but Beauty and the Beast really is too much of a stretch.

The stories got drastically changed by Walt bloostarfish. In the original version of little mermaid Ariels sisters give her a knife to kill the Prince because he married another woman :D

What Walt's teaching these girls? How about the original authors who penned these stories down?

Beautiful women have it made. If they want, they can work hard and make it on their own, but if they don't wanna, they can just marry a rich guy.
