Thursday, November 19, 2009 2:14:20 AM People shouldnt promote and/or show off their religion like that anyways. Personally, i find those as "the wanna-be's." Its cool that your christian or whatever, but to boast it is kinda unnecessary, same thing with all religions/ideas/belief. |

Thursday, November 19, 2009 12:18:35 AM NPDarren...You're admitting you were wrong? On the internet? Talk about cultural faux pas. You're supposed to change the subject, or just say STFU Fag... don't come in here using your "real world" language with us! (Seriously though way to make me feel bad for having a go at you. :P) |

Wednesday, November 18, 2009 8:36:46 PM i think any kind of parody is ok, as long as it is used for fun, and not to attack the other's ideas.but people who get offended by it are stupider than the ones doing the parody. and if that doesn't convince you, then you should just turn the other cheek, like your master said. |

Wednesday, November 18, 2009 8:03:50 PM >BaalthazagYou're right for criticizing that statement I made. It was only after I read your response that I realized that I was indeed supporting the "two wrongs make a right" idea with that comment. "Do I think religious parodies are wrong? No. Does NPdarren? Apparently, but it's OK because <insert earlier justification here>." I don't think parodies of anything are wrong, but are definitely unnecessary if created for the purpose of attacking an idea. Parodies created to poke fun or for humor are perfectly fine, so long as they are not defamatory or slanderish (which I do not think this decal qualifies as). I should have made that assertion instead of shooting myself in the foot with my earlier comment. |

Wednesday, November 18, 2009 2:51:02 PM Imiaramarie: "I don't get the point of purposely trying to make fun of other people's religious beliefs and offend them for no reason at all..."When it is custom to use a bible in court, when our currency has god written on it, when "we are one nation under god" when a certain religion has nestled itself in political affairs and is the main cause for many peoples rights to be ignored most people won't take that lightly. I find it slightly offensive that I have to use money that has god on it, but thats a battle not worth fighting or getting worked up. I couldn't care less. I'm not advocating going around making fun of anyone who holds a Bible, all the power to them for having a belief. But when that belief interferes with my life, that makes me angry. I'm all for the right to display what ever you believe in on your car. I'm tired of being political right a 100% of the time. |

Wednesday, November 18, 2009 1:12:46 PM baalthazaaq: "P.S. Almost all of science is based on inductive reasoning. " I agree. I just hadn't heard the term before. Metalmorgan : OK the crows are black was straight off the wiki, but c'mon a fully albino raven is a perfect pic for the point at hand. |

Wednesday, November 18, 2009 12:27:49 PM Mattprince: Exactly like that. P.S. Almost all of science is based on inductive reasoning. This includes evolution. Feel free to backtrack at any point. |

Wednesday, November 18, 2009 11:15:14 AM I don't get the point of purposely trying to make fun of other people's religious beliefs and offend them for no reason at all...It's quite immature... not to mention it makes your car look like a piece of trash when you put poo all over it... |

Wednesday, November 18, 2009 7:10:32 AM "The Darwin fish has legs which makes it amphibious, most likely living in the shallows or at the edge of a pool, while the Truth fish is much bigger and is completely aquatic, meaning it would have to live further from the edge, which is the habitat of the Darwin fish, and thus it is fairly unlikely that the Truth fish would prey upon the Darwin fish." You've never met a catfish have you ? I seen catfish prey upon frogs, toads, and other amphibians along the edges of ponds and lakes. |
