Ugh. No. The terrible grammar and the random use of capital letters "make me heaps drating angry." That is a very annoying advertisement and the orange is just pissing me off even more! Oh, look, a sticky note... lol! Oh, anonymous sticky-note poster, you really do know how to cheer me up.

Lighten up, ladies. After all, the way to a man's heart IS through his stomach. Being able to cook a good meal is a valuable skill, especially these days. At least you'd be good at something, unlike my wife!

Meh. I don't mind when someone says something like "Girls suck at sports" or whatever, but when someone tells me to "get back in the kitchen" I get so pissed.

Feminism is redundant. It's no longer about equality but being better than men.

True Story...Our local swimming pool was sued for having men only sessions by feminists, when they successfully managed to get their women only sessions.

Sexist bitches!

I'm not assosciating myself with those that the flier represents, but trying to clear up some misconceptions people on this board clearly have about what modern feminism stands for.

"...Modern feminism is less about..."

Let me stop you right there... do you REALLY want to call these extremist zealots modern feminists? Personally, I assumed the average feminist was less bat poo insane than to associate themselves with the fringe 5% this flier honestly represents...

Modern feminism is less about equal rights and more about breaking certain stereotypes of women in society often promoted by entertainment and commercialism.

It's obvious reading some comments on this board that people have a very limited understanding of what feminism really stands for, and therefore dislike it based on preconceived notions. Which is somewhat understandable.

"why women have such a (in my opinion, well-deserved) bad reputation."

I love how it's not even feminists, it's women in general. I agree though, I believe those 3+ billion women should be ashamed of themselves....

i agree with you, but in today's time, feminists do much more harm than good. they're part of the reason why women have such a (in my opinion, well-deserved) bad reputation. these women put up obnoxious fliers to get attention, and all for nothing. there's no reason to be feminist. women and men are pretty equal is society. they're not even shooting for equality anymore, they want superiority, which is just downright stupid.

> The main reason I despise feminism is because it has done so much harm to the noble dream of sexual equality, usurping and corrupting it into a foul mockery of itself

Although, to be fair, attitudes HAVE changed so much these days compared to when you and I were kids (not just to women, but to racism, greenism, etc) that the sort of thinking that was "normal" for our parents isn't just funny to us now, but seems almost psychotic. You only have to watch an episode of "On The Buses" for example - with 2009 eyes - to see how insignificant and objectivized women used to be. If changing attitudes from what they used to be, to what they are now, took a few overzealous lezzo biatches, then so be it.

"Does Sexist Crap Make You Heaps Dratting Angry?" And where's the meeting being held? In the WOMEN'S SPACE. That's total sexism right there, you can bet there's no Men's Space in this building.

i think "feminist" has become a euphemism for "lesbian". when a bunch of women get together to talk about how they're being repressed by the 'man' you know it ain't no sausage party in there!

that being said, back in the kitchen i go...
