Wednesday, February 24, 2010 6:59:44 PM LOL When I've decided to give in buy the saga (just to understand what was all the buzz about)I went to Branes&Noble and started to look in the Fiction section...but I was having trouble so I asked for help. The clerk's answer: "ohh...actually this book is in the Children's book section". LOL |

Wednesday, November 11, 2009 12:44:50 PM I completely agree with disliking Twillight, i tried to read it but the second book... didn't finish the 1st chapter. I just didn't get the joke about it being in the kids section, when in most bookshops, kids and teens are sorta lumped together. |

Tuesday, November 10, 2009 5:40:57 PM i dont get whats with the huge vampire craze thats goin on at the moment, i bet none of them have read "dracula", "carmilla" or "the vampyre". and have you seen how the people who were in the twilight films have all brought out autobiographies, it makes me sick. |

Monday, November 09, 2009 9:45:58 PM I work at a book store, and i will have to say that is correctly placed. Granted it may not be the best selling placement in the store, but none-the-less correct. A products placement is dictated by the publisher who has an agreement with the author. The twilight saga is dictated to be placed in the Teen/young adult section. In many stores, like the one pictured above, teen is a part of the childrens area. |

Monday, November 09, 2009 9:24:51 PM Do yourselves a favour kids. Forget Twilight pish, read the Grapes of Wrath by Steinbeck. Not as an English project, just as a book. Melted my head. And as a European, it's hard for me to admit that an American author is the sauce. Steinbeck. That's all. Read him. |

Monday, November 09, 2009 7:44:48 PM "I hate twilight. and i don't care how it sounds, but if you enjoy it, i honestly can't say you're someone i'd like to spend time with. i have not met a single twilight-liking person i can get along with. if you enjoy such horrible literature you have failed as a human being." Hmmm well I've read them and its not a great book but it is an easy read |

Monday, November 09, 2009 6:04:24 PM "if you hated the first one so much why did you take the time to read the second one?"Because I genuinely hoped it would be better, maybe even good enough to redeem SM. I wasn't, and it didn't. |

Monday, November 09, 2009 5:32:26 PM ....Maybe it's just cause I work in a bookshop. But I looked at this photo and was like....yeah? Your point being? They're in the kids section in my shop too. Are they being put in the biography section in other shops or something? |

Monday, November 09, 2009 5:23:56 PM I like the Twilight series, but I'm not one of the obsessive fangirls. I don't view them as children's books, though. Young adult/teen fiction, yes. |
