She's not a bad mom, you can almost feel what she is going through. The heavy guilt, and the sheer horror. Anything can happen within seconds. I have a 7 1/2 month old, I can't even imagine what thoughts and emotions I would be going through. If I thought my baby died, I would just want to collapse, and not go on... I'm so happy that the baby is alive, this video will make more parents be more careful.

If I was her I would have had a heart attack right then and there. And she is not a bad mother at all, it was an honest mistake.

what's the black ghost-like silhouette thing at the left side of the video? o.O anyway... look at the mother, after the train comes she backs off to save her own well-being. and she cries like "aww i'm a poor mother whose child has just died, pity me, love me, care about ME ;(" i think that shows that humans don't have instincts, not even motherhood instinct to put herself in danger to save her child

....lol, i'm just kidding mothers, you know i love you

He wasn't hit.. He was under the train all the time. Only the wheels touch the ground

Just pitching in here, I really don't think this makes her a bad mother at all.

I really feel bad for her to begin with having to go through that. The kid was probably nowhere near as scared as she was.

kevinmiller1, she didnt know the stoller was going to take off like that. and, be honest, neither would u, if u were in the same situation. its not like she was standing on an incline. the stroller just started rolling.

It was a mistake. Yes she was careless, but that doesn't make her a bad person or a horrible mother. Like Denny2 said, she nearly jumped in front of that train for her kid.

That being said... I don't have kids and never plan to, but my heart skipped a beat when I saw the train coming.

So many accidents with children can be avoided by keeping any sort of physical contact with the kid or device thats holding them, any perent should know, it only takes a second.

Simply stuffing her foot underneath the wheel before pulling up her trousers.. blows my mind how many parents remove their hands and don't place their feet when stopped on a sidewalk corner pushing a stroller with traffic flying by.

Leave the mom alone. Geez guys, she nearly killed herself trying to save her baby. Did you see her almost jump in front of the train?

Yeah, it was a horrible mistake, but poo happens.

"Man that sucks. To be honest though, if my kid was on wheels right near any sort of ledge, first thing i'd do is lock the wheels and even then I wouldn't let go."

Historian's fallacy. Everyone thinks that way, but the reality is most people would've done the same thing, no matter what you think you would've done.

Batmanners - You assume the train was going to stop, it might not have been stopping at said station; I don't know if it happens in America, but I've seen trains not stop at certain stations because the route they take doesn't stop at it.

And even if it was, I'm sure the driver didn't think "Oh, well, I'm stopping here anyway, I might as well stop at the correct part of the platform", some people actually care about other humans, and even moreso about babies.

Perhaps you didn't notice that as soon as she saw what happened, she ran straight after and almost went on the tracks herself? Please, don't be an ass and go insulting people who've been through a very traumatizing experience.

sweetrebelnc: don't patronize people with more common sense than a turnip. Is pulling up your pants more important than your child's safety? It wasn't a freak accident. This woman was a brainless tool just like you seem to be.
