Saturday, October 10, 2009 1:24:16 AM MissAbby: Why shouldn't I buy into stereotypes? They're there for a reason.I would assume you're single because of the statement: "I'm a chick and I find sports plain boring. And because of that I won't date men who are in to sports." That shows inflexibility and unwillingness to accept a man who may be interested in something you are not. It's not limited to sports just because that's what we're discussing here. For example, my boyfriend likes car stuff. I don't. Big effin deal. Just because I find it 'plain boring' doesn't mean that I don't want to date him because of it. That would be...oh yeah. Stupid. @flipNhigh: And what team do you support? I bet they suck! |

Friday, October 09, 2009 9:09:59 AM Poker_Face: Nope, been with the same wonderful guy for 5 years now. He hates sports. Why would you assume I'm single because I don't want to date men obsessed with sports? There are lots of great guys out there who aren't. I don't like shopping, soap operas or Twilight. I really hate twilight. So that isn't an issue. Maybe you should stop buying into the stereotypes.

Friday, October 09, 2009 12:17:37 AM @MissAbby and I bet you're single! Learn to give a little, eh? Chances are a guy isn't gonna like his chicks to be into soap operas or Twilight or lots of shopping but he'd probably put up with it.My boyfriend isn't really into sports and I find it rather disappointing. I like me some NFL. Go Bears :) |

Thursday, October 08, 2009 11:12:01 AM Luniz, you are a tard if you think MMA is not a sport. Takes more training than most other sports and there's definitely more risk involved. Webster's definition for 'sport': -an active diversion requiring physical exertion and competition -the occupation of athletes who compete for pay hmm.. so.. MMA leagues have belts, so there's competition, most people get paid for it, and they are definitely physically exerting themselves. So yeah, I'll quote you here: "Seriously try TO Know what you are talking about before you spout off at the mouth your making yourself look stupid." Good day :) |

Thursday, October 08, 2009 10:22:14 AM "Erm, soccer isn't supposed to be a violent sport. That's not what it's about."no, its not what its about, but anyone who has ever played soccer after the age of 12 really experience the violence, and if you played on the high school, college, or semi-pro level, you'd know just how violent the play becomes. its still fun as hell! I've played running back and midfielder for high school, I'd say I got beat up just as much on the soccer pitch as I did on the football field. |
