That's nothing simim. You don't even know OCD until you work at American Eagle. Gotta constantly straighten, fold, clean, etc. stuff that is already perfect. Plus you gotta fold stuff and put into piles only to have your boss decide it should actually be hung on hanger. I could keep going all day.. |

"Employees must be in a constant state of hand washing."They are. Seriously, I have to wash my hands at LEAST 10-20 times an hour at work. If I bus a table, gotta wash my hands. If I'm about to put a lid on a to-go dish, gotta wash my hands. If I touch my uniform in any way, gotta wash my hands. If I touch my hair, face, or skin, gotta wash my hands. If I pick up anything off the floor, gotta wash my hands. Yea. Total OCD enforcement. |

This happens to be standard health and safety. Lots of "You shouldn't do XYZ during work hours" type signs. Then if you are caught doing it regardless you are held responsible for your actions, more so than your boss.What would you rather have? Your boss there every working hour giving you a running commentary on what you are doing wrong? Even more so than normal? It's the places without these signs I wouldn't want to eat in.

Oh FFS grow up, the "atmos" the customer sees in a restaurant, cafe, etc is just an image portrayed while its open, once the doors are closed its like every other workplace, and a lot of people end up banging a work colleague on the nearest table sometime when the washing up's done and the floors are swept. It happens. |
