Sunday, September 06, 2009 8:42:31 PM There really shouldn't be 3 different types of Christians on the list. Why seperate the church? |

Friday, September 04, 2009 6:24:36 AM Yesssss Shinto beats out everything else in terms of IQ!(Feel free to call me a weeaboo, if you want- I don't mind) Also, as a former Episcopalian, I'm a little saddened to see them that low on the chart, but at the same time, they're the smartest of all the Christian denominations, so that's a plus. And even though I've met a few really smart Baptists, I'm gonna have to say that their place on the chart is pretty accurate- for every intelligent Baptist I've met, I've seen at least eight who are dumber than a rock. (Sorry if I offended anyone.) |

Thursday, September 03, 2009 8:20:20 PM I refuse to believe in scientologists with high IQs. Well, except maybe the few at the head of the cult who're getting all the money. As to the final question, I would assume it's similar to the reason Christians hate atheists so much. |

Thursday, September 03, 2009 8:03:57 PM Loved all but the IQ chart. It's not funny at all. I'm Protestant, so the closest thing I match up with is Baptist. There are smart Christians, and retarded Christians; like there are smart buddhists, and retarded buddhists; and even smart atheists, and retard atheists. And OMG there are even Scientologists and Mormons with high IQs! Why do atheists hate Christians so much? |

Thursday, September 03, 2009 4:23:05 AM The IQ one (IQ being a test of how good you are at tests)I agree with Baal - education impacts on it, and yes there has to be correlations between poverty and religion and proverty and education. I still think its bogus though, because you can't be that bright if you believe in invisible pink unicorns. :) Baal's point about hidden factors reminds me of the research that showed men who shaved have less heart attacks. Kitty ftw btw.

Thursday, September 03, 2009 1:57:24 AM Baal - I think the source is supposed to be the International Journal of Society and Religion, 2003 edition. However, I've searched repeatedly and there doesn't seem to be one. There's an International Journal of Religion and Society, but as you can see its first volume was published in 2007. And there's a Journal of Religion and Society, but according to their archives its 2003 edition doesn't have any article by Trevelyan. It seems unfeasible that there's no mention of the journal itself anywhere on the internet, even if we can't read the article in question. So there's a possibility the reference contains a typo, but I think it's more likely it's a fake. |

Thursday, September 03, 2009 1:00:20 AM I've got a level 80 warlock and I'm dating a really hot girl. We were supposed to finally meet this weekend but she has some kind of photo shoot in Fiji or something. That's just the price you pay for dating Christy Turlington. |
