Saturday, September 05, 2009 7:22:36 AM You're kidding right? I've seen kids younger than them dressed in skimpy cloths with heels about 5 inches high. Selfish parents? I don't think so |

Tuesday, September 01, 2009 9:28:19 AM Oh, come on. They're cute, obviously fed and clothed properly, alongside of actually being clean. They're looked after and they're enjoying themselves. Don't find that too often these days.Hell, my 'rents spoon-fed me Thrash Metal since I was involuntarily dragged into the world >:3. Oh, that.. And the little lass does the horns better than most of the recently crossbred "hardcore & screamo" kids ;D |

Monday, August 31, 2009 8:45:11 PM like i said if it is a novelty or celebratory thing to dress them up that's totally different. i don't find hip hop culture to be too child friendly either. even in the most intellectual of rappers like immortal technique and jedi mind tricks there is a certain element of violence that children need not be exposed to. to each their own but this is a forum for discussion so don't attack me for having a different view than yourself. i am not the only one out there. attacking me makes you the ignorant one buddy |

Monday, August 31, 2009 8:38:19 PM i am neither ignorant nor unaccepting, you are attacking me instead of my argument which says alot about yours. from what i have read, and the people i have met that claim to be goth i have formed an opinion on the matter. the goth lifestyle includes alot of clubbing/adult nightlife, are these concepts a child should be exposed to, no. |

Monday, August 31, 2009 1:56:11 PM oceanbeast: there is no such thing as "goth values". It's up to the individual to work out their own values. I've known goths from all walks of life and all religions. You can't know what values these people hold just based on how they dress. And clearly, you have no kids of your own, or you'd know if they kids didn't like the clothes they wouldn't wear them. |

Sunday, August 30, 2009 11:18:10 PM ocean, take your ignorant unaccepting opinions and cram them... This is in NO WAY bad parenting. Its a pair of parents who dress goth bringing their kids to a concert and dressing them up. SO WHAT?!?! I'd expect a hiphop couple to do the same with THEIR kids, or a country couple.... We ALL have different ways and beliefs. Who are you to judge? |

Sunday, August 30, 2009 4:02:21 PM "you can't tell that by the clothes they wear, how do we know what morals or dignity they have?"Oceanbeast you said it yourself there's no way to know so who cares :D they look cute and they look like their having fun, that's all that matters! |

Sunday, August 30, 2009 2:29:41 PM you can't tell that by the clothes they wear, how do we know what morals or dignity they have? to each their own but i would not raise my kids that way, one thing is to let them do what they want to do anther is to impose your own twisted views of the world. |

Sunday, August 30, 2009 2:25:24 PM whats wrong with that, its better that being forced to be a chav by chav parents and having no morals, no dignity and a way too huge ego |

Sunday, August 30, 2009 2:15:00 PM how can you now see that this is a direct influence from their parents? its bad parenting, i could understand if it was a novelty like Halloween or something but you should se the best examples for your children. goth not being one of them, for what it stands for. you are introducing them into a world that is full of adult content, and even if not exposed at that age can lead them down that path. if you want to be counter culture go ahead, but at least wait till the kid grows up to expose them. we have all been to rock concerts and we know people are out there drinking smoking and fornicating. thats fine when you are an adult but its not good parenting |

Sunday, August 30, 2009 5:41:57 AM ugh, children really shouldn't be introduced to things like punk or goth, I feel bad for them, they're probably going to grow up to be even more messed up than their parents |

Sunday, August 30, 2009 4:34:25 AM what's wrong with this? i would totally dress my kid like this. just because she's not wearing a hannah montana t-shirt doesn't mean she's gonna be a messed up little girl. she looks happy and cute. people need to stop being so closed-minded about this kind of thing. |

Saturday, August 29, 2009 9:54:20 PM Who's to say those children didn't chose to dress like that? The same way some little girls like to don Hello Kitty and little boys their favorite sports team. These children prefer this look, whatever this look may be. |

Saturday, August 29, 2009 9:36:20 PM Some people never grow up and still try to do what they think other people will say is cool. But if you break it down for them, and force them to make their own choices, they still pick other people's fashions/styles etc. |

Saturday, August 29, 2009 9:04:54 PM It looks to me like a renaissance festival (see the wood benches?) So what, my kids went as fairies last year and had a blast. Doesn't mean we live as fairies. Unfortunatly instead of being people being creative we see so many "goth" inspired costumes it gets boring. |
