Mk, to clear everything up (if you choose to listen to me, that is) this is at a health clinic. It's an attempt at a joke. I saw this on another site, and someone said it was at a health clinic near them, and 2 or 3 others confirmed it. |

Someone from France go check...:D....but usually if an escalator is under repair they won't put white box over it...usually just close off the entrance and exit...:D |

Keaton, Beternal. No wrongo. Look close, the railing on the right side of the picture, on the other side of that, beside the stairs, or rather, if we go by what you think, in the path of the other escalator there is that blue and white stand. Not only that, but you can see tiled floor on either side, there are NO escalators. |

no.. no... no you are all wrong... its obvious, the stair felt outdated just as a middle age man does, so he tries to fit in with the new escalomator-bobs and got himself some shiny new moving hip-hop handrails |

Actually, I think it's a stairway in between two escalators... the escalator on the left is under construction and covered with white panels, so you can't see the other railing (and the second railing for the escalator on the right is out of the picture) |

Ok, to settle this stupidity once and for all:THOSE ARE STAIRS. This is not the Matrix. There is no escalator. No matter how much you try to bend your mind the fact and reality is those are stairs. They put escalator railings on a set of stairs. Why? Who's really going to admit to the "Why" here? NO ONE. |

lol, please say you lot have worked it out by now!!!It's TWO escalators- one either side of the stairs - you're seeing the right rail of the left one and the left rail of the right one. |
