Monday, July 27, 2009 6:14:05 PM its going to be such an amazing movie, despite what anyone {{Baelzar}} might have to say. The book is the greatest children's book I have ever read, second only to "Go Away Big Green Monster". The kids in my class cannot get enough of it, and neither can I. It comes out on my dad's birthday. He wants to see it. =) |

Monday, July 27, 2009 5:24:59 PM This movie is going to suck. The wonder of the book is the illustrations and the brevity. The movie is going to destroy that. |

Monday, July 27, 2009 3:51:34 PM I don't know why, but for some reason I get a Shadow of the Colossus/Ico feel from this. I don't know if it's from the way that Max interacts with the wild things or the artistic style of this or what. But I'm truly excited to see this. The trailer alone was a heartwarmer as it is. |

Monday, July 27, 2009 2:03:26 PM Hopefully this will turn out to be as good as it promises to be.Fortunately, the original author is involved, and obviously played a vital part in selecting who would direct it, and there's no boardroom full of Hollywood douchebags saying "we need to add a car chase", "let's change the lead character from a young boy to a teenage girl so Hillary Duff can play the role", and "we're going to bring in the Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyrus to do the soundtrack" Maurice Sendak good. Hollywood bad. |
