What I found entertaining about this vid (the only part of it which was in any way different to the other several hundred variations of it already floating around) was that the bride appears to be against the whole idea. Seriously, watch her at the start... she looks like she's whispering to the groom, 'Please, honey, don't make me do this!' And with just cause. She can't dance. |

How is the untraditional wedding dance "overdone"?I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the far and away majority (I don't think 98% is an exaggeration) of weddings and receptions are still the same old standard cookie-cutter productions with a dry ceremony followed by your basic reception with entertainment consisting of either a cheesy band consisting of a bunch of guys in their 50's wearing tuxedos with some 50 year-old skank on vocals who still thinks she's hot, and has the dyed blond hair and sagging cleavage visible courtesy of her low-cut gown to prove it... OR some guy who makes a living spinning records on Friday night at suburban high school dances who insists on bombarding the attendees of the reception with the Hokey-Pokey, the Macarena, and THAT GOD-AWFUL CHICKEN DANCE. I'd much rather see the wedding party do something like this. |
