I just thought I would take the time to say that that was not a dolphin. It was a pygmy sperm whale relative, and when they are frightened they shoot red liquid. |

to all the comments about the animal choking to death...
go back to third grade where you learned the differance between hot and cold blooded,
sea mammals breathe air, hence the need for blow holes.
the worry for a beached whale or dolphin is that its skin will dry out. |

"K so they found a bloody, hurt, beached dolphin and stick it back into the water.... What's to stop it from it bleeding to death from its injuries? Or from it's blood attracting predators like a shark. How much you wanna bet this thing died."How much you wanna bet that thing would have died *without* their help as well. If it was just going to die, being in its own environment would at least have made it more comfortable. Also, as has been pointed out, it's not a dolphin, and that's not blood, so... end of. |
