Thursday, September 17, 2009 8:07:12 PM Sadly this is the only way to deal with overly emotional people. I feel sorry for the guy too, but he is really his own victim until he learns some self control. |

Tuesday, July 28, 2009 3:03:13 PM poor guy. iv'e said it once before and i'll repeat cops are given way too much liberty when using force. that guy stands up, is physically restrained then steps back, he steps back and no one really says sit down or anything just blasted the guy. anyone in that situation might have an emotional reaction, he might even be innocent, how is it ok for some punk with a badge and gun to taze the poo out of anyone? here in miami anyone out of high school is given a badge, gun, taser, and full authority to "restrain" anyone. if you don't feel the government's grip tightening around your civil and personal liberties wake the drat up. i am way more educated than most cops but they are the ones who can physically harm anyone when they feel threatened? something isn't right here. i feel bad for that guy. we are innocent til proven guilty. |

Sunday, July 26, 2009 10:18:52 PM TKD Master, Why don't you debate the content of someone's comment instead of just being a grammar Nazi? It was obvious what the person was trying to say. Do something productive. |

Saturday, July 25, 2009 10:31:32 PM Wow. It takes a real winner to jump up and start threatening the people around him in the middle of a court room session. What did he expect? "Please sit down?" |

Saturday, July 25, 2009 12:22:50 PM "A lot. Handcuffs dont make it impossible to do something. Those of you judging the officers actions need to shut up. You see 40 secs of what is going on. You dont see what he may have done before this. This could have been his 5th outbreak. It may not have been. You DONT know. Every body judges the police on small video clips and thats all. They never get the whole story. Trailleadr and Triplenipple are right. You dont know everything so SHUT UP."Everybody* one word there, corporal. |

Saturday, July 25, 2009 12:16:29 PM "trailleadr - just shut up and grow up!" LOL that's the funniest comment I've read today. --- "You're such a tool. And the sad part is that you are so blindly en-slaved by the rule of "civil law" that you don't even realize just how much of a TOOL you really are!" --- So the best you can do to sway my opinion is insult me? Brilliant. I suppose I could go on being blissfully ignorant since you "seem" to know more about this than I do. However my opinion still stands and regardless of your disdain toward my opinion I am still entitled to it. Maybe if you made an educated argument I might change my mind. Otherwise I'm inclined to think of you as one of the many bleeding hearts that have made it possible for a burglar to break into my house, trip on one of my son's toys and break his neck. Then turn around and sue me for damages. In which case, as a bleeding heart your opinion holds no merit. |

Saturday, July 25, 2009 3:29:33 AM so would it be perfectly fine say, if he raped someone? would him being tasered still be out of line then? the point is we only saw 40 seconds of whatever was going on, we didnt see what happened before it so he could have very well deserved that |

Friday, July 24, 2009 11:27:58 PM I don't know what the courts of law are like in Australia, Lionhart2, but in the rest of the civilized world, ANY kind of outburst is dealt with harshly...and so they should.trailleadr is right on the money. |

Friday, July 24, 2009 9:14:53 PM Oh give it a rest lionhart. Did he need to be tased? who cares. Did he need to jump up like a scorpion stung his ass when the prosecutor said, "the officer who testified..." Yeah, I see that as a real provocative statement. How hard is it to follow some simple rules, and laws? One of which is to sit your stupid butt down and be quiet while being arraigned. Not jump up and shout obnoxiously like you're at the local pub watching a bar fight. As far as I'm concerned you should be afforded no extra courtesy if you are a law breaker. Anything that happens to you while incarcerated should be part of the package deal. Because if you didn't screw up in the first place you wouldn't be in court getting yourself arraigned and tased. And yes I know, "what if he's wrongfully accused?"...it doesn't happen as often as they'd have you believe. And no I'm not a cop. |

Friday, July 24, 2009 8:48:59 PM Gotta go with Lionheart on that one. I didn't see any justifiable reason to use anything other than some simple direct verbal orders but even THAT wasn't used. |

Friday, July 24, 2009 5:22:48 PM Unreasonable force much? Watch closely. He stands and yells at :21 - the cop pushes him into the table and knocks it over, then flinches back even though he's done nothing, He gets tased 8 seconds after shouting, without doing a single aggressive act. Its the cop who should have been tased, he was the one who knocked everything over and got physical. |
