OMG I did not realize what we had in our home cost so much. We had the Commodore EXC 64 and the Atari.

I remember when flash memory thumb drives were roughly a dollar a megabyte. And that was only about 6 years ago.

Hahaha, $2500 for 15mb? I've downloaded songs bigger than 15mb. Ah, the good old days.

The last one was probably the birth of the idea that computers should have porn on them :p.

Artistchick7 - not only that, but you HAVE to buy the $495 installation kit! You know, whoever owned that thing was the envy of all of his technical friends...

I actually would drive 50 miles or so to go to Priority One Computers in Sepulveda, Ca (#1) because they had the best selection of Commorore 64 and Amiga accessories.
I still have my Amiga 1000 from 1985.
Spent $3500 for the system with an Epson JX-80 color printer.
*Sigh* Sweet memories.

I miss my TRS-80 Model III. It had a whole whopping 4k of memory, no drives, and basic built in.

... Old computers scare me...

It's amazing to think that we've gone from those... Those THINGS... To what we have now.

God I love the advancement of technology. And, on the plus side, we no longer get those creepy Microsoft adds... *Shudder*
