Monday, September 14, 2009 8:19:48 PM the music really gave the suspended in water feel. love it.and the lack of environment? perhaps they are still designing it. perhaps they are putting in coral as it takes quite awhile to grow. most likely they left it bare because it was FAR easier to clean. and the less stuff you have in there, the more space gallons of water you have for the fish to live in. |

Wednesday, July 22, 2009 7:36:30 AM The video itself is outstanding, but is anyone else hugely disturbed by the apparent and COMPLETE lack of simulated environment, here? The aquarium in question has already been targeted by complaints regarding the 3 or 4 whale sharks (which you can clearly see in the video) which it isn't big enough to properly house. I dunno. Even in a 20 gallon home aquarium with run of the mill freshwater fish, SOME sort of environment is necessary for the fish to feel at ease and secure. I can't imagine the stress those fish must be feeling, what with nowhere at all to hide. The tank's positively bare. |

Saturday, July 18, 2009 5:04:19 PM Just if you are wondering..."Either measured by the number of fish (more than 100,000) or by the volume of water (a 6-million-gallon or 23-million-liter tank), the Georgia Aquarium truly is the world’s largest aquarium." |
