Saturday, July 18, 2009 5:17:26 PM i hate chihuahuas - poor lion. he should have eaten the little rodents then kicked the police officer in the balls and walked casually back to wherever he came from.

Saturday, July 18, 2009 4:50:11 PM I wanted a video. My guess at what saved her was someone being naked bait and distracting it. >.> |

Saturday, July 18, 2009 4:05:47 PM >_> sad that they killed the lion. in the video it looks like its wanting to just go home and the dogs wouldnt let it. i agree with batmanners, tranquilizing would have been a better option. :/ |

Saturday, July 18, 2009 3:51:33 PM "the lion thought "holy sh*t those are some huge ass rats!" "Chihuahuas are not huge compared with wild rats. That cat would probably have encountered rats bigger than those dogs. When I was a boy, our family house cats would drag home rats that big that they'd killed in nearby wild land and leave them on the doorstep. Maybe they were boasting about their hunting ability, maybe they were offering us breakfast, who knows? |

Saturday, July 18, 2009 3:31:33 PM "Thought it said SAVED by mountain lion...lol that would be awesome" I thought it said that too!The story was suprisingly lame. Seeing as we couldnt actually see the dogs in the video... and there was only a tiny bit of mountain lion sat scared behind some junk. |

Saturday, July 18, 2009 3:07:32 PM "The mother's name is kind of amusing: "Analee Spray""I concur... Anally Spray...gross Anyways, I don't think the mountain lion was looking to harm anyone. I know cats well enough, when he wasn't hissing, he looked scared. Was he looking to harm, he would have attacked the stupid dogs and killed the little girl. The hissing didn't have any growl in it, which means he was just scared as opposed to trying to be aggressive. Killing it was a bit too much. I would have tranquilized it and released it somewhere safe. With the very little wildlife left in the USofA, it would be best to not kill the few that get lost in your urban jungles. |

Saturday, July 18, 2009 11:29:58 AM Keeping toy dogs as dolls is irritating. If you want a doll, buy a doll. Actually, selective breeding to create bonsai dogs is irritating by itself. If you want a pet rat, buy a pet rat. They're cute. The lion was probably not aggressive and didn't need to be killed. If it had been aggressive, it would have snacked on the bonsai dogs even if it was confused by them. Left alone, it would probably have walked off harmlessly. |
