Saturday, July 11, 2009 3:04:57 PM When I saw Chernobyl at 8 and Tunguska at 6, I knew stars would be involved in some manner. I was kind of hoping for "Greatest explosions on Earth," with maybe some videos. |

Thursday, July 09, 2009 3:33:54 PM WolfDNA - that was eyeopening. I'm very ignorant to the whole Chernobyl incident, I know nothing about it, but my god, it's terrible. |

Tuesday, July 07, 2009 2:32:27 AM Oh man the Chernobyl accident is so sad. If you guys want to look at a great video with pictures and explanations of what happened and what is currently happening go here. I will warn you it's pretty grotesque, but it's very mind blowing, emotional, and it will open up your mind.http://inmotion.magnumphotos.com/essay/c... |

Sunday, July 05, 2009 2:16:53 PM That was a great list. I guessed that Chernobyl, Tunguska, Supernovas, and Shoemaker-Levy 9 would be on there, but the rest surprised me. Astronomy FTW! |

Sunday, July 05, 2009 12:22:57 PM Tunguska FTW. And that quote from the Bhagavad Gita for the Trinity bomb just fits perfectly.

Sunday, July 05, 2009 10:06:56 AM Aaaaaw, #1 was so anti-climax. --------------------------------------------------Only on IAB could we have someone go "meh" to a sun going supernova and exploding or even the entire creation of the universe itself if you where reffering to the big bang. ------------------------------------ Not to mention the amount of energy released would be 100 times more energy than the sun would release in 10 billion years.

Sunday, July 05, 2009 8:43:59 AM LazyMe: The tsar bomba could have gotten a mention, but you must acknowledge the fact that both Nagasaki and Hiroshima, in that case, also should've had one. But I understand your point; it's debatable. But there's something more special about the first bomb in comparison with the strongest A-bomb, or so the author figured. About your second point; we'll probably never be certain about the truth. Hell, there might not even be a truth, and this whole universe could be man-made. Our history; just an indoctrinated concept, or who knows what. The theories are very wide, not the mention the ones that don't see the public daylight. The Big Bang theory has fundamented reliability, yes, but it does not mean we couldn't be way off. |
