OldOllie - The space between the nose and mouth is called the philtrum (sometimes spelled philtrim). The central depression under your nose is called the philtral dimple, and the ridges are called philtral columns. The word is Greek in origin and means “magic potion”. An old wives’ tale has it that the philtrum is a mark left by an angel’s finger at the moment of a baby’s birth. Or so they say. |

I'm going to go with OldOllie's idea. I think it's photoshopped.
And even with just looking at the picture, you can tell the shine between his lip and nose shouldn't look like that. |

Definitely shopped. All they did was shift the nose over and raise one eye. The indentation above the center of the upper lip does not line up with the center of the nose (septum). Also, the eyebrows and especially the super orbital ridges would not still be level if the eyes were that far off.Here's proof: 
I just punched up the contrast a little to make it more obvious. |

A friend of mine has this disorder, if it's the same thing anyway. I can't remember what it's called, but it's a genetic thing. The discrepancy will just get worse over time. |
