For those of you in the dark, those are common PT (that's Physical Training) shorts that soldiers wear when exercising. Also think about how hot it is where those guys are, you'd wear the them to if it meant u'd be a little cooler. As OMgZelda said, you should be thanking that guy for defending your country and freedom, not poking fun at him for his shorts. |

@LyckosamYou should really study history more before you make assumptions like that try looking up Lend-Lease.A total of $50.1 billion (equivalent to nearly $700 billion at 2007 prices) worth of supplies were shipped. This program started before Pearl Harbor belive it or not FDR saw the writing on the wall. To give you an idea during WW2 about one fourth of British ammo was from the U.S.A. and we supplied all allies. As for repayment anything returned we didnt charge for and lend-lease items retained were sold to Britain at the knockdown price of about 10 cents on the dollar. YOU NEED TO STUDY HISTORY MORE!!! |

This looks like a physical training exercise. His shorts are indeed short, though I don't see how you guys are making fun of this. You should be thanking the guy for defending our country.So thank you, soldier who was snapped wearing incredibly short shorts. |

ok well having been there i think i can spell this out for anyone that cares. it looks like they were in the middle of a little p.t. (physicol training) when they got a call for fire. that means that some one needed mortor support some where and they needed it as fast as possible. when that happens they dont worry about what they are wearing. just throu on your gear and run out. |
