that's always the best way to calm down someone who's over-angry-- just stay completely calm and make them feel like a dick. let them lose their temper and just stand there and take it. |

This video is actually used in a police training film. Oddly enough it's used to illustrate how situations can be handled better. In the training film it depicts the officer is doing a poor job. the officer was completely on sympathetic to the man situation. What the video doesn't show is that the man's dog had just died.I'm sure you all thinking the same as me. Who cares about that Jackass and his dog. the cop did a really good job. And it's a repost |

According to the clock on the camera, this is almost 17 years old, which is about when I saw it on AFV or some show like it. I think the cop knew he could tweak the guy by being extra calm and reasonable, and it worked. The guy was asking for a wood shampoo, but the cop just kept on being Mr. Rogers just to drive him nuts.  |

To the people who think the cop is a jackass: when presented with a ticket, take the ticket. He's not gonna recind it because you shout at him. If you disagree, take it to court. The cop acted appropriately. He wasn't intimidated and stood his ground without using unnecessary force |

Im pretty sure I could find it, but last sesmester my criminal justice teacher gave a bunch of different reports to do and another group got this one. My criminal justice teacher then went into a big explanation about this that lasted the rest of class. |
