Goddamnit SarahofBorg, your sheepish accusations make me lose all hope for humanity. Seriously? In an average town the richest people are cops? Bullpoo. Utter Bullpoo. What's fantastic is that if I mention a trillion towns, you'll just tell me that's not an average town. I'd also like to see where you got a list of the town's richest people. My guess:
"I think cops are rich cos they're corrupt"
"I will imagine a list of rich people, yup, all the people in my imaginary list are cops"

It is nice to a positive cop story. Unfortunately its not the overwhelmingly massive number of times that cops do their jobs well and correctly that gets on IAB, its the few douche bags that ruin it for everyone else that get on here. Admittedly they are much more entertaining. Oh well. |

Sorry Big Wa but my neighborhood is actually very affluent, and I'm a young white girl. And it's completely true. I actually knew the cop was behind me so I wasn't speeding. And, in fact, the street was the very one I live on, so I know it like the back of my hand.
And it's hardly my only experience. And I'm hardly the only one who goes through this. I even know a girl who was molested by a cop who wasn't even on duty at the time and she didn't know he was a cop, but he claims he was doing official police work. That case is still in court.
I do believe there are such a thing as good, heroic cops, but they're an anomaly. The entire system PROMOTES corruption and has very little checks to keep the power in balance. Just look at any list of any average town's richest citizens. They're ALWAYS cops. |

Let me put it this way. If the cop said "dance around like a monkey and take your clothes off or I'll arrest you" he'd completely get away with it. Even with video evidence. And essentially, by threatening the guy to make him pick up trash, this is exactly what he did.
Honestly, I would rather get arrested than be forced to humiliate myself like this poor man. The only thing this poor man should be ashamed of is not having any pride. |

seriously cops win 100% of court trials. don't even bother, just pay the 80 bucks to the ticket clinic and get over it. no two ways about it. i just got yoked for 320 bucks for something i didn't even do :( |

The guy was a helpless victim, as most "criminals" who are pulled over for "speeding" are. He's obviously frustrated.
Hell, I've been pulled over for having a "tail light" broken. Conversation went basically like this:
Cop: I pulled you over because you have a tail light broken.
Me: Really? It's broken?
Cop: ARE YOU QUESTIONING AN OFFICER??!? He didn't give me a ticket because he knew I could just take a goddamn photo of my tail light and easily fight him. I was lucky, but I only got away because I acted like a coward. All most officers really want is to bully people, they get off on it. That's why they're officers. |

Anyone whose been unjustly pulled over should be able to identify. There is NOTHING you can do. The best you can hope for is if you stay quiet and calm and show up to court that the cop won't show up, which they often don't. But if he does, you lose. Every time. You might as well just flip a coin, you'd get the same amount of justice. |

The judge WILL side with the cop, unless you can actually prove that you weren't speeding, which is about as easy as proving God doesn't exist. Plus, you'll lose money because you're taking time off work, AND you'll still have to pay the ticket.
There is no justice. The cop is calm because his dick is getting hard knowing that he has the absolute power to make this man his bitch. |

Before everbody starts applauding the cop, here is alittle back story. The officer had recieved several complaints about being a prick on traffic stops. This is completely set up, the offender is a member of his family. Instructor at the academy was either his supervisor or worked at that dept. He knew the story, but very specific details have left me. I've seen the video several times, but after hearing the "TRUE" back story, cant help but look at it differently. |

What the hell is wrong with you? How can you not feel sorry for this guy? He explains very clearly how he's a complete victim and I couldn't agree more. He can't afford to take a day off to fight the ticket, and he can't afford the ticket. Either way the cop is screwing him for absolutely nothing. And you know damn well that if he did go to court he'd lose because nobody sympathizes with some one as upset as him.
But you don't know what his life is like. He mentions his ex-wife taking all his money. I'd go insane too if on top of that I have to throw away $130 for doing absolutely nothing wrong. If I could I'd shoot the cop in his ass and make him watch as I rape his children. |
