And he's a professional athlete, so he can't read, that's why its in pictures for them. If they still go ahead and do it, they get docked a million dollars from their wage that week; do it 40 or 50 times in a season and you start to really miss that extra beer money you lost. |

I like that AIG is all over Manchester United's jerseys. That's cool that they're using the bailout money to sponsor a sports team is another country. Any sports sponsorship is bad enough, but a team in a different country is pretty lame. And it's a soccer team at that.Just kidding. Soccer's cool. I'm warming up to it. Except for when they dribble and pass for like 45 minutes and then finally take a shot at a giant goal and miss by like 20 feet. That's kinda not so cool. |

they banned lifting up or taking off your shirt because some players had other sponsors or messages printed on their undershirts.
funny thing is that Dexia have nearly gone bust due to the recession, i guess the team wasn't following the rules :P |

Ah, this is because they banned taking your shirt off in celebration a few years ago. The clubs put up signs all over the place to remind players not to overly celebrate. This is just one that was made by a sponsor and so is a bit corprate. |
