As some have already mentioned, this is a fine Art sculpture installation. This is the work of (I'm sure of it) Tony Matelli. He visited my school in college, and a fellow student eventually worked as one of his studio assistants. I have had the privilege to meet and speak with Matelli on a few occasions, one of which being a New Years party. Is this at the Baltic or something? They always have Weird bits of art. I remember seeing a wax monkey that was impaled by lots of things, from an axe to a rake to a pen. Weird stuff. |
