"i would say about 15% of my grade is sexually active"That's probably true for me too, but I'm in eighth grade. I'm not sure I know anyone who'd go as far as prostitution at our age, though. The way the present this is that ALL teens are whoring themselves out and that's not true in the slighest. |

The averidge reproduction rate of most countries has fallen and is under the necessary rate to keep that culture going.So that means that if these girls forgot to take the morning after pill the rate might rise ;) .Sick i know but it is there own fault , they shouldn't of being selling there bodes like that. |

We've talked about sex (oral and otherwise) and we know were both not ready. In fact my friend and his gf havn't really done anything apart from kissing and they're very happy together. |

Most teens I know are at least marginally sexually active. This doesn't make them whores or filled with STDs. I'm gonna say 9 out of 10 of them are using birth control and condoms and are monogamous. This documentary took a very isolated part of society and made it seem like every person is screwing a couple different guys a night. In reality, that is a minority. Yes, my peers (including myself) experiment with sex, and maybe have it regularly, but we are educated about it and we are taking measures to be safe. It is no big deal. |

I think it depends on the girls you talked to. When I was a teenager there was like 4 whorey girls who would sleep with guys and one nasty boy who talked about getting blow jobs. The rest of us avoided them because we thought they were gross. You don't really get popularity points for bragging about giving up your virginity in a draining pipe in the woods behind your house at the age of 12. |

The current generation of teens/young adults is the worst one yet...nowhere near as honorable and dignified as those who fought during WWII. Ideally, 40s/50s morals should make a comeback (minus gender/race inequality). But that will never happen.
I honestly don't want to know what the next generation will be like.

this is a bit disturbing, but its not too surprizing.i think that statistic is "out of date". probably 90% of girls age 19 have had oral, and about 60% at 16 andabout 20% at 14. teens are just curious. plain and simple. |

So long as it's safe sex, I have no objections to teen sex.As for prostitution... well it has been with us from the beginning, and will likely be here long into the future, whether legal or not... They should just have a prostitution tax, and be done with it. Sex is only a big deal because it was forbidden by the church for such a long time. Sex was no big deal to the Romans and the Greeks, those fabled people who our society so looks up to. I really don't see any problems with this. I have no right to judge what people do with their own bodies, just be safe as it is in all of our best interests that we minimize the spread of STD's and pregancies. |

You know what i hate? This. Yeah, it's got some truth to it and everything, but all of the articles about this are going to make parents paranoid that THEIR kids are doing it. And that's just not true, for the vast majority of the time. |

Well, you know what they say, "95 percent of statistics can be made to say exactly what you want them to" Maybe more than 50 percent of the kids that THEY talked to had oral sex, and maybe they just went around asking the sluttiest girls they could find. |

Also, all of the girls that I know that have engaged in oral sex, and there are quite a few, have only done it in relationships with guys that they really liked, and it was their idea because girls can be even hornier than males. I just don't see what the big deal is if they are in relationships and doing something that they can't get pregnant in. I mean, there are always STD's but if you're in a proper relationship, these things are shared. |
