my science teacher climbed that thing he said that u need gloves to climb up the rope and when u come down everybody leaves their gloves under that rock that the 2 guys r sitting on for other people to use |

Lionhart2, sorry if I don't feel too bad for the poor resorts or tourists who want to get in a day of hiking. Considering the sh*t the Aborigines have endured in the past (and sometimes still endure) I don't see why they shouldn't be left alone with their stones, sacred or no. |

Ayers Rock (Uluru) in central Australia used to look just like that, until the aborigines decided the resorts were making a lot of money and suddenly, conveniently, Uluru was 'always' a sacred site. Now there are signs everywhere asking you to change your mind and not walk on their sacred stone, and if you go ahead with the climb anyway, they stand there shouting "White trash pig" and throwing rocks at you. This is apparently not racism when its an aborigine doing it. |

mjrtom, when we went the 2nd time, we left at about 4 in the morning and got there at about 10am and there were literally about 5 other people up there! (including 2 f*cking religious nuts, screaming bout some random s*it...but they wont always be there :) deffinitely do it!!) |
