Wednesday, May 13, 2009 1:02:00 PM And this is why I scuba dive, for all the awsome stuff you see down thereThe best thing to compare it to would be like a reverse puffer fish. When threatened it hides itself instead of puffing up. I'm not sure if it is a plant or an animal, because there are creatures in both sides that can do that.

Wednesday, May 13, 2009 12:34:16 PM does it come back out, or is it, like, screwed to die? because if it just dies thats the worst defense mechanism ever. you die either way. |

Tuesday, May 12, 2009 10:35:46 PM "goalie i agree with you the ocean freaks me out as well, just the fact that i cant see whats beneath me is more than enough reason for me to stay on land, that way i can at least see what is attacking me"That's exactly what I was thinking! I mean usually in lakes it's pretty much ok but on open sea...That's creepy, there're thousands of deadly creatures in there lol. |

Tuesday, May 12, 2009 8:48:12 PM There is a reason our evoltionary ancestors crawled out of the ocean, and I have no desire to ever go in it, nor do I understand people who feel compelled to go in. Of course the range of bio-diversity is interesting, but humans are out of their element in the sea. Oceans freak me the hell out, and this thingy is yet another reason I am happy to stay on land with my shotgun to ward off the occasional bear - shotguns don't work underwater. |
