Ohhhh i love these things, ive been diving before and got shown them by a tour guide, they re like sea anenomes i think, so that would make them an animal. they are really spongy and weird!! |

And this is why I scuba dive, for all the awsome stuff you see down thereThe best thing to compare it to would be like a reverse puffer fish. When threatened it hides itself instead of puffing up. I'm not sure if it is a plant or an animal, because there are creatures in both sides that can do that.

There is a reason our evoltionary ancestors crawled out of the ocean, and I have no desire to ever go in it, nor do I understand people who feel compelled to go in. Of course the range of bio-diversity is interesting, but humans are out of their element in the sea. Oceans freak me the hell out, and this thingy is yet another reason I am happy to stay on land with my shotgun to ward off the occasional bear - shotguns don't work underwater. |
