This is a VERY BAD IDEA. Humans are too damn stupid to use this technology in a fruitful and beneficial way. Someone is guaranteed to screw something up with disastrous consequences. |

Why is the science of cloning people so fascinating? Last I checked we're at 6 billion and counting. Great in a few years not only will I have to fight idiots for air but clones as well. |

It's interesting that Mary Shelly was brought up, because she probably would have been all for the cloning, but maybe would have thought twice when the quality of life for the clone was brought up... that was the point of her book.I agree with fluffypink or whatever her name is |

It's a telomere problem... (in laymans terms) every time chromosomes are doubled during mitosis, the ends of them shorten. This means that when you're older, your DNa is literally eating itself away.
This is why taking a mature person's DNa and introducing it into an egg is flawed as the DNa is already aged - hence all the problems that Dolly the sheep had
