Saturday, April 18, 2009 3:16:07 PM "Since when being half-blind is a super power? It's not like those eyeball-cameras transmit an image into your brain with cool effects and auto-targetting or something."True, but the first working commercial system of that type went live over 6 years ago (the first prototype goes back to 1978, but wasn't practical due to the lack of small enough computers). The patient lost both eyes in accidents and had cameras transmitting images into his brain. Seriously. Computers inside his skull, connected to his brain, jack sockets in his skull, cameras feeding to the cranial computers through the jack sockets. His vision is crap, but that's better than total blindness. The inventor of the system is dead, but development continues. It should lead to superhuman vision in time - it's not as though things such as night vision and zoom are new to cameras.

Saturday, April 18, 2009 2:55:37 PM This is AWESOME. I really want these things now xD The downside of invisibility though: pedobear can be watching you without you knowing. O_O |

Saturday, April 18, 2009 2:49:27 PM Since when being half-blind is a super power? It's not like those eyeball-cameras transmit an image into your brain with cool effects and auto-targetting or something. And those legless guys are likely to be outrun by a terrifying super villain on a bicycle. |

Saturday, April 18, 2009 2:23:48 PM If I could have a super power, I'd want to be Buffetman -- able to eat anything, anytime, any quantity without gaining weight or dropping dead of a stroke or heart attack. |
