True, but it's a hell of a lot better than having unprotected sex, and for now it's pretty much the only thing that helps against spreading aids (I think, correct me if I'm wrong)....and abstinence!  |

It also isn't really fair to blame the Pope for people who only obey part of the message. They wouldn't be having sex outside marriage at all if they obeyed all of the message. I think the message is wrong, but I don't hold the Pope responsible for people obeying only part of it. Condoms aren't the perfect protection they're made out to be, either. You're still taking risks. The advert is also wrong - Jesus would not have been preaching sexual freedom. He was a radical reforming Jew, but not *that* radical. Unless, of course, the version of Christianity (Paul's version) that won the resulting religious war was completely different to Jesus' actual message.
Personally, I think the rules are (a) wrong and (b) wrong within their own religion, i.e. a misinterpretation.
